Bilbrook railway stationis a railway station which serves the village ofBilbrookinStaffordshire,England.It was known asBirches and Bilbrook Haltwhen opened, being renamed toBilbrookon 6 May 1974.[1]

Services

Bilbrook is typically served by one train per hour in each direction betweenBirmingham New StreetandShrewsburyviaWolverhamptonwhich calls at all local stations on theWolverhampton–Shrewsbury line.There is also an additional service in each direction in the morning and evening peak. These services are operated byWest Midlands Trainswith 1Transport for Walesservice a day Monday-Saturday and 2 a day on Sundays. On Sundays, there is one train every hour in each direction operated byWest Midlands Trainswhich calls at all local stations from Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury.[2]West Midlands Railwayoperate these services usingClass 196DMUs.[3]

The station is unstaffed, but there is a ticket machine on platform 1 and covered waiting areas on both platforms.[4] There is a nearby bus stop with services operated byNational Express West Midlands.
