The school was founded in 1967 and is a part of theVirginia Community College Systemand serves students from the cities ofHarrisonburg,Staunton,andWaynesboro, Virginia,and the counties of Augusta,HighlandandRockingham.Blue Ridge also has a satellite location atAugusta HealthinFishersville, Virginia.It is located betweenInterstate 81andU.S. Route 11just outsideWeyers Cave.
