Boissezon(French pronunciation:[bwasəzɔ̃];Occitan:Boisseson) is acommunein theTarndepartmentin southernFrance.Its inhabitants are known inFrenchasBoissezonnaisor asBoissesonols.
The village was originally known asBuxodunum,meaning "land of thebuxus."It is home toLe Militarial,amuseum-memorialforpeaceestablished in 1996 an old fort dating from the 11th century.[3]
