Book of Gods and Strange ThingsorShenyi Jing(Chinese:Thần dị kinh) is an ancient Chinese geography book. The original version was written byDongfang Shuoduring theHan dynasty.[1]The modern versions were edited byZhang Huaduring theJin dynastyand Zhu Mouhan during theMing dynasty.

The claim that Dongfang Shuo wrote theBook of Gods and Strange Thingswas first recorded byPei Songzhiin theRecords of the Three Kingdomsin the footnotes.
