Brennpunkt(lit.'Focal Point') is aNorwegianinvestigativedocumentaryseries and division of theNRK.The series has aired since 1996, except for a hiatus in 2007.[1]It was originally hosted byHåkon Haugsbø,and from 2014 by Jeanette Platou.[2][3]As of February 2024, the series has been produced without an on-screen presenter since 2019.

The series has won severalGullrutenawards,[4]as well as aPrix Italiaaward[5]and aDaniel Pearl Award for Outstanding International Investigative Journalism(in cooperation with journalists fromBBC'sNewsnight,The Guardianandde Volkskrant,for exposing activities of theTrafiguracompany).[6]
