St. Louis / Los Angeles Rams
[edit]Hager was drafted by theSt. Louis Ramsin the seventh round, 224th overall, of the2015 NFL draft.The 224 overall pick was traded to the Rams by theNew York Jetsin exchange forZac Stacy.[8]
On May 6, 2019, Hager re-signed with the Rams.[9]He was placed oninjured reserveon November 12, 2019, with a shoulder injury.[10]
Las Vegas Raiders
[edit]On August 7, 2020, Hager signed with theLas Vegas Raiders.[11]He was released on August 23, 2020.[12]
New York Jets
[edit]On September 22, 2020, Hager was signed to thepractice squadof theNew York Jets.[13]He was elevated to the active roster on October 24 and October 31 for the team's weeks 7 and 8 games against theBuffalo BillsandKansas City Chiefs,and reverted to the practice squad after each game.[14][15]He was promoted to the active roster on November 3, 2020.[16]
Personal life
[edit]Hager has a younger brother named Breckyn who playedlinebackerfor theTexas Longhorns.[17]Hager's father,Britt Hager,played nine years in the NFL with thePhiladelphia Eagles,Denver Broncos,and St. Louis Rams.[18][19]
