Castillejos,officially theMunicipality of Castillejos(Ilocano:Ili ti Castillejos;Tagalog:Bayan ng Castillejos), is a 3rd classmunicipalityin theprovinceofZambales,Philippines.According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 67,889 people.[4]

Castillejos was established in 1743 by Tagalog settler families who migrated fromBataan.[6][7]
A strong magnitude 6.1earthquakeoccurred on 5:11pm (UTC+08:00), April 22, 2019, according toPHIVOLCS.[8]
Geography[edit]
Castillejos is located betweenSan Antonio,SubicandSan Marcelino.It is 57 kilometres (35 mi) fromIba,21 kilometres (13 mi) fromOlongapo,and 147 kilometres (91 mi) fromManila.
