Cecil Edward Cole(September 23, 1919 – June 20, 2002) was an AmericanNegro leaguepitcherin the 1940s.

A native ofConnellsville, Pennsylvania,Cole graduated fromConnellsville High Schoolin 1937, and served in theUS ArmyduringWorld War II.[1]He played for theNewark Eaglesduring their1946 Negro World Serieschampionship season.[2][3][4]Cole went on to become a scout for thePittsburgh Piratesfor 35 years. He died in Connellsville in 2002 at age 82.[5][6]
