Chetan Shashital(Konkani:चेतन शाशितलCētana Śāśitala), born 1968 inMumbai, India,also known asChetan SashitalorThe Big Cfor his expertise in the voice-acting industry) is an Indian actor, voice actor and singer, who is mostly recognized for working in thedubbingindustry. Chetan received Newsmakers Achievers Awards in 2021.[3]

Dubbing career[edit]

He has been giving voices to animation, for local Indian productions. He has also performed Hindi-dubbing for foreign productions, such asBaloothe Bear fromTalespinandThe Jungle Book 2and also for Genie fromDisney's Aladdin,that was dubbed and aired onDisney Channel Indiain 2005.[4]

Shashital has also dubbed forBollywoodactors. He is considered[by whom?]to be official dubbing artist forBollywoodactor,Amitabh Bachchan,as well as for such other Bollywood actors asSalman Khan,Sunny Deol,Sanjay DuttandDharmendra.[5][6]
