Chremslach(Yiddish:כרעמזלעך,IPA:[ˈχrɛmzləχ];singularchremslorkhremzl,Yiddish:כרעמזל,IPA:[ˈχrɛmzl̩]), is aJewish foodeaten onPassover.[1]Chremslach are small thick pancakes or fritters made of potato ormatzah meal.[2][3][4]Chremslach can also be more dessert-like, including ingredients like dried fruit and nuts.[4]

Similar dishes, or even the same, have different names. Balkan Jews use theLadinotermbimuelos"fritters", cognate withSpanishbuñuelos.[4]
