Citioloneis a drug used inlivertherapy.
It is a derivative of theamino acidcysteine.[1]Citilone has also been studied with regards tohypothermiadue to it being ahydroxylfree radical scavenger. The drug has been shown to protecthamstercells subjected to temperature conditions of 8-25 °C.[2]
