Coombe Brook, flowing through the Malden Golf Course

Coombe Brookis a 1 km (0.62 mi)[1]longstream(brook) in theRoyal Borough of Kingston upon Thames,London,England, that is a tributary toBeverley Brook,itself a tributary of theRiver Thames.Rising inMalden Golf CourseinNew Malden,Coombe Brook flows a northeasterly course through the golf course, then into aculvertunder the Kingston By-pass section of theA3 road,before finally flowing into the Beverly Brook nearCoombeon the boundary of theLondon Borough of Merton.[2][3]

Historically, Coombe Brook flowed into Beverley Brook atCoombe Bridge,which had existed as early as 1745.[4]In the 1930s, the bridge was demolished and converted into its current state—abox culvert.
