Cucumber cakeis acakeprepared usingcucumberas a primary ingredient. Additional ingredients may include typical cake ingredients such as flour, sugar, eggs and leavening.[1]It may be served as a dessert cake,[2]and some versions are topped with anicing.[1]

Cucumber cake may be referred to astavsoliortausali,and is a dish inGoan cuisine.[3][4]Tavsoliis prepared using cucumber, and additional ingredients may include rice, coconut,jaggery,ghee,cashews andcardamom.[3][4]Turmericleaves may be placed atop the cake prior to baking, which adds flavor.[3]It may be served as a breakfast dish,[5]and may be prepared in the style of adhokla[6]andsteamed.[7]
