Dávid Guba(born 29 June 1991) is a Slovakfootballerwho plays as awingerfor Austrian club ASK Wilhelmsburg.
Club career
[edit]Born inHumenné,Guba played as a youth for TJ Sokol Vydraň, MŠK Spartak Medzilaborce and1. HFC Humenné,where he played until he joined1. FC Tatran Prešovin 2005.[1]Guba was promoted to the first team during the 2008–09 season. His debut came on November 7, 2009 in theCorgoň Ligamatch againstFK Dukla Banská Bystrica,entering in as a substitute in place ofMichal Piter-Bučko.[2]On November 19, 2011 he scored his first goal for1. FC Tatran Prešov,againstMFK Ružomberokin a 1–1 draw.[3]In winter 2013, he came toMŠK Žilinaand he signed a half-year loan with option to buy from1. FC Tatran Prešov.
International career
[edit]Guba was first called up to the senior national team for two unofficial friendly fixtures held inAbu Dhabi,UAE, in January 2017, againstUgandaandSweden.He capped his debut againstUganda,being fielded in the 70th minute, after substitutingTomáš Malec.Slovakia went on to lose the game 1–3. Guba also played the first 60 minutes of the match against Sweden, before being substituted byFilip Oršula.Slovakia lost the game 0–6.[4][5]
