Daula(Classical Mandaic:ࡃࡀࡅࡋࡀ) is the first month of theMandaean calendar.[1]The month begins withDehwa Rabba,or New Year's Day. TheFeast of the Great Shishlamis celebrated on the sixth day of the month.[2]
It is the Mandaic name for the constellationAquarius.[1]It currently corresponds to July / August in the Gregorian calendar due to a lack of a leap year in the Mandaean calendar.
