David Ulothis a Canadian film director and screenwriter fromQuebec,most noted for his 2018 filmThe Far Shore(Dérive).[1]

The brother of filmmakerGeoffrey Ulothand actressHolly Uloth,he was educated atConcordia University.[2]He directed a number of short films in his early career, most notablyThe Voice(La voce),[3]which was aPrix Irisnominee forBest Live Action Short Filmat the19th Quebec Cinema Awardsin 2017.[4]

The Far Shore,his feature debut, was written by his wife, filmmakerChloé Cinq-Mars.[2]Fluently bilingual, Uloth has worked on both English-language and French-language productions.[2]
