Deshamanya(Sinhala:දේශමාන්ය,romanized:Dēshamāṉya;Tamil:தேசமான்ய,romanized:Tēcamāṉya;Pride of the Nation) is the second-highestnational honourofSri Lankaawarded by theGovernment of Sri Lankaas acivil honour.It is awarded for "highly meritorious service",and is conventionally used as atitleorprefixto the recipient's name.[1]
