Diyadin(Kurdish:Giyadîn;[2]Armenian:Տատէոն,romanized:Tatēon) is a town inAğrı ProvinceofTurkey,at the foot ofMount Tendürek,a high peak in theAladağlarrange that stands between Ağrı and the north shore ofLake Van.It is the seat ofDiyadin District.[3]Its population is 20,302 (2021).[1]
