Donal Ormonde(born 21 January 1943) is an Irish formerFianna Fáilpolitician andradiologist.He first stood for election toDáil Éireannat theFebruary 1982 general election,in theWaterfordconstituency, but was unsuccessful. He won a seat there at theNovember 1982 general election,[1]but lost it at the1987 general election.He wasnominated by the Taoiseachin 1989 to the19th Seanad.[2]
His fatherJohn Ormondewas a Fianna Fáil TD for Waterford from 1947 to 1965.[3]
