Donald James Weekes(8 May 1930 – 24 September 2013) was an English cricketer. Weekes was a right-handedbatsmanwho bowled right-armfast.He was born atHorsham,Sussex.

Weekes made a singlefirst-classappearance forSussexagainstOxford UniversityatUniversity Parks, Oxfordin 1952.[1]In a drawn match, he bowled a total of six wicketlessovers,while in his only batting innings he was dismissed for aduckbyHenry Joynt.[2]This was his only major appearance for Sussex.

His uncle was theWest IndianTestcricketerSir Everton Weekes,while his father-in-law,Leonard Bates,played first-class cricket forWarwickshire.

Donald Weekes died inBromley,Londonon 24 September 2013, at the age of 83.[3]
