Dwyranis a village on the island ofAnglesey,in north-westWales,in the community ofRhosyr.Population 2011 census was 603.[1]The first prototypeLand Roveroff-road vehicle was built and tested around Dwyran andNewborough, Angleseyin 1947.Maurice Wilksdesigner of the Land Rover is buried just outside Dwyran village.[2]
