Edward Brian DaviesFRS(born 13 June 1944) is a former professor of Mathematics,King's College London(1981–2010), and is the author of thepopular sciencebookScience in the Looking Glass: What do Scientists Really Know.[2]In 2010, he was awarded aGauss Lectureby theGerman Mathematical Society.[3]
