Edmond Haggard Madison(December 18, 1865 – September 18, 1911) was aU.S. RepresentativefromKansas.
Born inPlymouth, Illinois,Madison attended the common schools. He taught school. He moved toWichita, Kansas,in 1885. He studied law. He wasadmitted to the barin 1888 and commenced the practice of his profession inDodge City, Kansas.He served as prosecuting attorney ofFord County, Kansasfrom 1889 to 1893. He was appointed judge of the thirty-first judicial district of Kansas on January 1, 1900, and served until September 17, 1906, when he resigned to become a candidate for Congress.
Madison was elected as aRepublicanto theSixtieth,Sixty-first,andSixty-secondCongresses and served from March 4, 1907, until his death inDodge City, Kansason September 18, 1911. He was interred in Maple Grove Cemetery.
