Typical In-line skating protective gear includes helmet, elbow pads, wrist guards, and knee pads.

Elbow padsare protectivepaddedgear worn on theelbowsto protect them againstinjuryduring a fall or a strike.[1]

Elbow pads are worn by many athletes,[1]especiallyhockey players,cyclists,roller skaters,skateboarders,volleyball players,skiersandwrestlers.Wrestlers sometimes use elbow pads as weapons by slapping their opponents, or take it off for anAtomic Elbow.

Soldiersalso often wear elbow pads.
