Theelectoral district of Marodianwas aLegislative Assemblyelectoratein thestateofQueensland.It was first created in a redistribution ahead of the1950 state election,and existed until the1960 state election.[1]
Marodian was centred onGayndahandGoomeri,and incorporated parts of the formerIsisandWide Bayelectorates.[1]It was named for Marodian Station, situated betweenKilkivanandBrooweena.It replaced the Wide Bay electorate due to confusion between the previous state seat and the federalDivision of Wide Bay.[2]
In 1960 Marodian was abolished, it was redistributed between the Barambah, Burnett and Isis electorates.[1]
