AtVossajazz2014, she appeared withinIvar Kolve'sPolyostinatexperience. Here she performed with Norwegian elite musicians, and delivered an indulgent polyrhythmic and polyharmonic treat for the discerning ear.[4]

AtMoldejazz2014, Wang presented material from her debut solo albumDiving.TheEllen Andrea Wang Trioplay a wonderful mix of jazz, pop and rock, with catchy melodies and hypnotic grooves.[5]

In October 2014 the bands "Pixel" and "SynKoke" delivered gigs at the London venueVortex Jazz Clubduring the 'Match and Fuse Festival'.[6][7]

In mid-2019, she began a new trio project with British rising star guitaristRob Luft& distinguished Swedish jazz percussionist Jon Fält. This tightly-knit band began its journey as a tribute to the music of American double bassistCharlie Haden, acquiring the name Closeness, which is in itself an homage to Haden’s 1976 release ’Closeness Duets’. However, after extensive touring across Scandinavia, the U.K. & CentralEuropethe trio increasingly began playing Wang’s distinctive original compositions. Their debut album was released to widespread critical acclaim onRopeadope Recordsin the autumn of 2020 & a second release is expected from this idiosyncratic trio in the autumn of 2024.
