Emamrud(Persian:امامرود)[a]was a village inKelarestaq-e Gharbi Rural Districtof theCentral DistrictofChalus County,Mazandaranprovince,Iran.

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 660 in 190 households.[4]The following census in 2011 counted 680 people in 215 households.[2]

After the census, the village of Hachirud merged with the villages ofAbbas Kola,Akbarabad,Chakhani,Delgosha,Dujman,Emamrud,Herteh Kola,Kia Kola,Mesedeh,Mohammad Hoseynabad,Nursar,andSang-e Varesin the establishment of the new city ofHachirud.[5]
