TheEmbassy of AfghanistaninCairo(Persian:سفارت كبرای جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان در قاهره) is thediplomatic missionof theIslamic Republic of AfghanistantoEgypt.It is located at 59 al-Orouba Street,Heliopolis,Cairo,Egypt.It promotes Afghan–Egyptian relations, and performsdiplomatic,political,cultural,media,and other bilateral activities. The embassy also providesconsularservices.

The current Afghanambassadorto Egypt isMohammad Moheq.Prior to that, Moheq served as a senior adviser on cultural affairs to the President of Afghanistan. Moheq also worked with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan as well as a professor at Herat University.
