Erin McGreehan(born July 1982)[1]is an IrishFianna Fáilpolitician who has served as aSenatorsince June 2020, after beingnominated by the Taoiseach.[2][3]

Early life[edit]

McGreehan grew up in Castletowncooley, atownlandin the north ofCounty Louth,and attended Mullaghbuoy National School and Bush Post Primary School.[4]

Political career[edit]

She previously served as a member ofLouth County Councilfrom 2019 to 2020.[5]In June 2020, she wasnominated by the Taoiseach,Micheál Martin,toSeanad Éireann.[6]Andrea McKevitt was co-opted to McGreehan's seat onLouth County Councilfollowing her nomination to the Seanad.

Personal life[edit]

McGreehan lives on theCooley Peninsulawith her partner, Donal McMorland, and their four children; they run an engineering business.[7]
