Fazelabad(Persian:فاضل آباد)[a]is a city inKamalan DistrictofAliabad County,Golestanprovince,Iran,serving as the administrative center forEstarabad Rural District.[4]

The people of Fazelabad speak a dialect of Mazanderani language called Katoli.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 13,060 in 3,154 households.[6]The following census in 2011 counted 14,548 people in 4,084 households.[7]The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 19,461 people in 5,869 households.[2]
