PharaohFinger Snail(fl. c.3050 BC) was anancient Egyptianruler from thepre-dynastic periodofprehistoric Egypt.[1][2][3]It is disputed whether he really existed as the reading of his name as a king's name is far from certain. Most scholars do not read the known signs as a king's name.[4]He may have been the first king of a united upper Egypt.[5][6]
The name is preserved in the inscriptions in the tomb U-j of KingScorpion IinUmm el-Qa'ab.[7][better source needed]
