Fiona O'Loughlin(born 8 September 1965) is an IrishFianna Fáilpolitician who has been aSenatorfor theAdministrative Panelsince April 2020. She previously served as aTeachta Dála(TD) for theKildare Southconstituency from 2016 to 2020. She also served as Chair of theCommittee on Education and Social Protectionfrom 2016 to 2020.[1][2]

She was a member ofKildare County Councilfrom 1999 to 2016.[3]

She lost her Dáil seat at the2020 general election.[4][5]In April 2020, O'Loughlin was elected as a Senator for theAdministrative Panel.[6]

In September 2020, she was named as Chairperson of the Irish delegation to theParliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.[7]
