Flatbergiaceaeis a family ofmossesin the orderSphagnaleswith a single extant genus,Flatbergium.[1]
In addition, an extinct genus,Dollyphyton,based on a fossil from theMiddle Ordovician,has been proposed to belong to this family,.[2]However, the interpretation of such fossils as putative plants has been questioned.[3][4]
