Fontanile(Piedmontese:Fontanij) is acomune(municipality) in theProvince of Astiin theItalianregionPiedmont,located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) southeast ofTurinand about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast ofAsti.As of 31 December 2023, it had a population of 470 and an area of 8.0 square kilometres (3.1 sq mi).[3]
