Fort Boggy State Parkis a 1,847 acres (747 ha)state parklocated inLeon County, TexasbetweenLeonaandCenterville.The park was donated to theTexas Parks and Wildlife Departmentin 1985 by Eileen Crain Sullivan to be developed as a state park. The park featuresswimming,hiking,mountain biking,canoeing,kayakingandfishing.

The park participates in the "Tackle Loaner Program"; individuals can borrow rods, reels and tackle boxes with hooks, sinkers and bobbers. Common types of fish caught includelargemouth bass,channel catfish,bluegill,redear sunfish,redbreast sunfishandrainbow trout(seasonal).

The park haswoodlandsrolling hills, meadows, andwetlands.Large trees species includepost oak,hickory,elm,sweetgumandpecan.Smaller trees and shrubs includeAmerican beautyberry,dogwood,sassafras,yaupon,hawthorn,greenbriarandAlabama supplejack.Savannahgrasslands in the park are made up oflittle bluestem,Indiangrass,purpletop,switchgrassand the endangeredCenterville brazos-mint.

Wildlife present in the park includewhite-tailed deer,raccoons,squirrels,foxesandbeavers.Waterfowland other varieties of aquatic wildlife reside in the park as the park is subject to flooding during rainy periods.
