George Keith "Fritz" Kiersch(born July 23, 1951, inAlpine, Texas) is an American film director, writer and, producer.[1][2]

He is perhaps best known for directing the horror filmChildren of the Cornand the dramaTuff Turf.[3][4]

On July 9, 2021, Fritz was a special guest on the season one finale ofThe Ghost of Hollywoodpodcast. During the interview, he discussed his work onChildren of the CornandTuff Turf.He also talked about his production company, Kirby/Kiersch Film Group, which he founded withTerrence Kirbyin 1981.[5][6][7][8]
