Being a freelancer, Abe is known for his brief tenures with variouspromotions.On October 31, 2020, at a house show promoted by666 Pro Wrestling(666), he competed in anintergender three-way matchforIce Ribbon'sTriangle Ribbon Championshipalso involvingRam KaichoandKoju Takeda.[4]At the2021 editionof thePro Wrestling Zero1'sFire Festival,he placed himself in the Block A, and competed against Tsugutaka Sato,Shinjiro Otani,Masato Tanaka,Hartley JacksonandYoshiki Inamura.[5]

All Japan Pro Wrestling (2016–present)

Abe debuted inAll Japan Pro Wrestling(AJPW) on the sixth night of the2016 Champion Carnivalfrom April 22, 2016, where he teamed up withKoji IwamotoandYutaka Yoshiein a losing effort to Diablo,Hikaru SatoandMasao Inoue.[6]At theAJPW New Year Wars 2017on January 2, he participated in a19-man New Year Open battle royaland competed against popular wrestlers such asTakao Omori,Ryouji Sai,Manabu Soya,Minoru Tanakaand others.[7]He took part in the same type ofmatchone year later at theAJPW New Year Wars 2018on January 2, where he again competed against well known wrestlers such asThe Bodyguard,Osamu Nishimura,Kento Miyahara,Kaiand others.[8]

At the2019 edition of the World's Strongest Tag Determination League,Abe competed into a tournament for theAJPW World Junior Heavyweight Championshipin which he fell short toKoji Iwamotoin the first round on November 21.[9]

He is known for participating in signature events of the promotion such as theAJPW Junior Tag League,making his first appearance at the2016 editionof the tournament where he teamed up with his "Astronauts" tag partnerTakuya Nomura,and scoring a total of two points after competing against the teams of Axe Bombers (Kazuhiro Tamuraand Daichi Kazato),Black Tiger VandTakeshi Minamino,Soma TakaoandYuma Aoyagi,andAtsushi AokiandHikaru Sato.[10]At the2020 edition,he teamed up withKoji Iwamotoas "Jin", defeatingFrancesco AkiraandTakayuki Uekiin the first round, but falling short toAtsuki AoyagiandRising Hayatoon December 27.[11]

Big Japan Pro Wrestling (2017–present)

Abe is known for competing in signature events ofBig Japan Pro Wrestling(BJW) such as theSaikyo Tag League,and at the2018 editionof the event, he teamed up withTakuya Nomura,placing themselves in the Srong Style Block and scoring a total of four points after competing against the teams ofKazuki HashimotoandYuya Aoki,Hideki SuzukiandDaisuke Sekimoto,Tatsuhiko YoshinoandKota Sekifuda,Ryuichi Kawakamiand Kazumi Kikuta,Daichi HashimotoandHideyoshi Kamitani,andRyota HamaandYasufumi Nakanoue.[12]On June 13, 2018, Abe participated in atournamentto determine the no.1 contender forShinobu'sBJW Junior Heavyweight Championshipwhere he fell short toKazuki Hashimotoin the first-round.[13]

At ahouse showpromoted on August 10, 2020, Abe teamed up withTakuya Nomuraand defeatedDaisuke SekimotoandKohei Satoto capture theBJW Tag Team Championshipfor the first time.[14]

DDT Pro Wrestling (2016–present)

Abe competed mostly under thePro-Wrestling Basara(Basara) branch of the promotion since joining it in 2015. AtBasara 162: Stars Alignment Skyon July 7, 2021, he teamed up withTakuya Nomuraas "Astronauts" to defeat Sento Minzoku (Isami KodakaandDaiki Shimomura) for theIron Fist Tag Team Championship.[15]

Abe competed in signature events of the promotions such asDDT Judgement.He marked his last appearance at theJudgement 2018: DDT 21st Anniversaryon March 25, where he teamed up withIsami Kodakain aLosers Get Anal Blast Weapon Rumble five-way tag team matchalso involving Moonlight Express (Mike BaileyandMao),Michael Nakazawaand Chinsuke Nakamura,Sanshiro TakagiandOrdinary Man Munenori Sawa,and Smile Squash (Yuko MiyamotoandSoma Takao).[16]

Another event isDDT Into The Fight.His only match in this branch of events took place atInto The Fight 2018on February 25, where he teamed up withRyuichi SekineandRyota Nakatsuin a losing effort to Shuten-dōji (Kudo,Yukio SakaguchiandMasahiro Takanashi).[17]

Personal life

Outside of the ring, Abe works as a personal trainer for a fitness center called FLENJI. The gym is owned byIkuto Hidakaand employs fellow wrestlersMunenori SawaandTowa Iwasaki.[18]He is also a qualifiedJōdo-shūBuddhist priest.[19]
