Gábais a bilingualSámimagazinethat is published six times a year[citation needed]by the Sámi women's forumSami Nisson Forum,[1]and that has funds earmarked for it in the annual budget of theSami Parliament of Norway.[citation needed]The magazine was published for the first time onInternational Women's Day(March 8) in 1996.[2]Although the main languages areNorwegianandNorthern Sámi,articles are occasionally written inSouthern Sámi,Lule SámiandSwedish.[citation needed]The articles mainly deal with the everyday life of the Sámi from a woman's perspective.[3]
