G.811Timing characteristics of primary reference clocksis a recommendation from theITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T).It specifies requirements for primary reference clock devices insynchronization networks.It discusses timing requirements for connecting national telecommunications networks.[1]Primary reference clocks need to be highly accurate and are often based oncaesium atomic clocksthat meet the standards of G.811.[2]
