Gangatiri(Hindi: गंगातिरी), also known as Eastern Hariana and Shahdari, is an indigenous cattle breed ofIndia.[1]It is known to be originated in the region along the banks ofGangariver in easternUttar Pradeshand western parts ofBiharstate. It is an important dual purpose breed ofNorth Indiaand are fairly good milk yielders.[2]
