Gary Lydonis a British-Irish stage and screen actor fromNortholtin England.[1]He is known for playing theGardaPeadar Kearney inThe Banshees of Inisherin.[1]
Lydon played Patrick Murray, the counsellor onRTÉ One'sThe Clinic,from 2003 to 2009,[2]a role for which he won anIFTAforBest Supporting Actorin 2007.[3]He also played Bomber inPure Mule.[4]
He has performed on stage as Brendan inBorstal Boyand inMartin McDonagh'sThe Pillowman.[5][6]
