Gennady Olegovich Logofet(Russian:Геннадий Олегович Логофет;15 April 1942 – 5 December 2011) was aSovietand Russianfootballplayer and football coach.[1]

Career

Logofet earned 17 caps for theUSSR national teamas adefenderbetween 1963 and 1970, and participated inUEFA Euro 1968and the1970 FIFA World Cupin Mexico.[2]He spent his 15-year career withSpartak Moscow.[2]

He was a coach of the USSR Under-21s, an assistant with the national team and Spartak, and the coach ofFC Maccabi Moscow.[2]
