Gjert Kristoffersen

Gjert Kristoffersen(Urban East Norwegian pronunciation:[ˈjæʈːkrɪˈstɔ̀fːəʂɳ̍];13 August 1949 inArendal– 29 May 2021) was a Norwegian linguist, a phonetician and a professor at theUniversity of Bergen.[1][2]

His native dialect of Norwegian wasArendalsk.[3]

He wasmarriedto librarian and biographerJan Olav Gatland.[4]
