Harry Dym( Jan. 26,1938- July 18,2024,Hebrew:הארי דים) was amathematicianat theWeizmann Institute of Science,Israel. Dym's research interests includedoperator theory,interpolationtheory, andinverse problems.
Dym earned his Ph.D. in 1965 from theMassachusetts Institute of Technology,under the supervision ofHenry McKean.[1] He introduced theDym equation,which bears his name.[2]
