Helreginn(Old Norse:[ˈhelˌreɣenː],"Ruler overHel"or" Hell-power ") is ajötunninNorse Mythology.

Name

TheOld Norsename Helreginn has been translated as 'Ruler overHel',[1]or 'Hel-power'.[2]Rudolf Simekcomments that the name is unusual, reasoning that it is uncommon for a jötunn to be directly associated with "the underworld."[3]
