Karl Åke Henry Allard(21 November 1911 – 23 October 1996) was a Swedish politician (Social Democrat).[1]He was a member of theRiksdagfrom 1943 until 1979. He was the Speaker of the Riksdag's second chamber 1969–1970, and became the first speaker of the unicameral Riksdag in 1971, a post he held until 1979.
His grandsonMarkus Allardis the founder and longtime leader of the local populist big-tentÖrebro Party.[2]
