Hero Illustratedwas acomic book-themedmagazinepublished in the early to mid-1990s in the United States. Columnists includedAndy Mangels,[1]andFrank Kurtzwas at one time a managing editor. The journal won the 1995Eisner Awardfor Best Comics-Related Periodical/Publication.

Hero Illustratedwas published byWarrior PublicationsofLombard, Illinois.Its premiere issue was dated July1993and it ceased publication in the spring of 1996.[2]
