Jaap Lamberton(1941[1]or 1946[2]- 1991[1][2]) was a Dutch illustrator ofcomicsandchildren's literature.

Lamberton collaborated withHarrie Geelenoncommercialsandanimated cartoons.[1]He was one of the last remaining artists to work at the comics department of Toonder Studios byMarten Toonder,together with Richard Klokkers and Frits Godhelp.[2][3]He also illustrated thePandacomic strip series with stories written by Harrie Geelen and Ruud Straatman.[2]

He was production coordinator for the animated feature filmThe Dragon That Wasn't (Or Was He?).[2]

In 1993, he was posthumously awarded theWoutertje Pieterse Prijsfor illustratingEen heel lief konijn,written byImme Dros.[1]
