Jack Rowan(born 18 February 1997) is an English actor. He was nominated for aBritish Academy Television Awardfor his performance in theChannel 4dramaBorn to Kill(2017). He also starred in the BBC seriesNoughts + Crosses(2020–2022) andWreck(2022), and theSky MaxseriesA Town Called Malice(2023). His films includeBoys from County Hell(2020).
Early life[edit]
Rowan was born 18 February 1997 inPimlico,London.[1]Before becoming an actor, Rowan was an amateur boxer from age 12, winning 18 of 27 fights.[2]He took acting classes with RAaW London.[3]
Career[edit]
Known for his roles as Sam inBorn to Killand Bonnie inPeaky Blinders.He has also had small roles in numerous television dramas includingCasualty,Silent Witness,andBeowulf: Return to the Shieldlands.[4]from 2020 to 2022, he played Callum McGregor in the BBC drama seriesNoughts + Crosses.[5]
In 2022, Rowan joined the cast of theSky MaxseriesA Town Called Malice,where he plays protagonist Gene Lord in a cast which includesJason Flemyng,Dougray ScottandTahirah Sharif.[6]
