Jacob of Chinon

Rabbi Jacob of Chinonalso known asRav Tam of Chinon(Hebrew:רב יעקב מקינון;c. 1190-1260) was a 13th-centuryFrenchTosafistfromChinon.He was a pupil ofIsaac ben Abraham of Dampierreand a teacher ofPerez of Corbeil.Mordechai ben Hillelmentions that Jacob wrote "Shitṭah", a commentary on theTalmudictractate,Sanhedrin.Besides that Rabbi Jacob is known for several of his tosafot.[1][2]
